I'd like to take a moment to dedicate this issue of 'Creating What Matters' to my business partner-in-crime Tina Forsyth. Tina and I have been up to no-good at all for several years, building six and seven figure businesses in and outside the coaching industry (businesses of our own as well as other peoples, we are known to be a little nutty).
This year, however is different. Oh we have lots of growth planned in various new niche markets and are *most* delighted to be hiring more coaches to add to the business family, but there's a completely different reason I'm dedicating this issue to Tina:
Tina and Dan will be having their first baby in March.
I don't know about you but most of my friends and associates are deciding NOT to have children, so this is the first baby in my immediate chosen family.
Click here to see the feet that are probably wiggling right now...Tina, does it tickle or what??

Needless to say this will be a true test of our business working for us, not the other way around, and we look forward to sharing with you how it goes as we make our way. Those of you who've gone before us, we take our hats off to you and look forward to your wisdom too.
In short, as a reader of "Creating What Matters," you know: we talk a LOT about how to "make meaning AND money, sustainably".
Everything we do revolves around taking a stand for and fostering this for as many coaches as want it.
And more than ever now with a babe along the way, I'm reminded of why. So thank you for being a part of the "Creating What Matters" community. We love walking the path with you and that's a fact.
And Tina...thanks for giving us something that really matters, and for enrichening the soup of our lives so very much.
Here's to a very different and still very meaningful, moneyful and sustainable 2006 - mindblowing in it's fullness - for us all.

And in the "I'd be remiss if I didn't add" department:

Questions to Ponder:
What does the statement "Make Meaning and Money, Sustainably" mean to you?
My coach once argued with me that Meaning should come first, not Money, in this business tagline. Your thoughts on "Make Money and Meaning Sustainably" versus "Make Meaning and Money Sustainably"...perhaps a who cares?
What is the biggest difficulty you (or your coaching clients) experience creating meaningful lives while earning a living?
Do you think you (or your coaching clients) really want passive income? Why do (you think) some of them say they do but act like they don't?
What really matters to you this month?
"Discuss." :-)
