Ice Cream Flavors…and Passive Income
Got asked today what my favorite flavor is, what with all the talk and metaphor we use from the ice cream world…
(1) Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia
(2) Baskin Robbin’s Peanut Butter and Chocolate
(3) Chocolate Chip Mint (not sure which brand on this one but I do like Laura Secord)
So what’s today’s extension of the Ice Cream Journey as metaphor for doing business?
When you create passive income product, let’s say a six CD set with written workbook, it’s not the same as being in your live coaching program.
It’s like the difference between walking into an old fashioned ice cream saloon (salon?) and taking in the copper ceilings, the red and white striped shirts, and sitting on a red leather stool at the bar enjoying your cone…
And the experience of going to the grocery store and picking up a gallon. The ice cream is the same but the experience is different.
Some people will always want to go the ‘full’ route and coach with you 1-1. Others will never want that and will just buy your CDs. When you’re busy, but you want ice cream, the grocery store ‘does the trick.’
Make sense?
Happy spooning…
